Drs. Monih Epin's decade-long research explores the Dusun Tatana tribe's origins, culture, and challenges. Through oral histories, archival footage, and expert interviews, the film unravels the Tatana's ancient legends, Chinese influences, and modern-day efforts to preserve their heritage.

Chester Pang
Chester Pang is a dedicated director from Borneo-Malaysia with a strong passion for storytelling and supporting local talent in Sabah. After producing the well-received film 'Craze Below The Wind', Pang has steadily built a career contributing to various film and television projects, including documentaries and series. His work is rooted in showcasing authentic stories from his homeland, highlighting the region's culture and talent.
In 2022, Pang took on the role of President of the KKFVA (Kota Kinabalu Film and Video Association), where he focused on nurturing the local film scene. His efforts have resulted in numerous short film competitions, workshops, and initiatives aimed at promoting filmmakers from Sabah and bringing their stories to an international platform. His latest project, the upcoming feature film 'Mantera', reflects his growing vision and talent.
